Smelly dirty yuck!

Dirty yucky toilet and smelly rooms! Not worth it. It i cheap but better to stay in hostels. Informed the receptionist about the questionable hair in our bathub and just ignored us. Taxi driver told us that this hotel is for some quick sexual pleasure. Stay away!

Just needed a place to stay after landing in Singapore, the room was in very poor condition. There were air con controls which did nothing. We woke in the middle of the night freezing and had to call reception to turn it off.

We stayed here for 1 night and thought it would be a budget friendly quick stay but really wish we chose elsewhere. Walking in, the room smelled really bad of chemicals. I guess it was a sign it was cleaned but at the same time it wasn't? The bath tub had some stains and there was a hair on the wall next to mirror. There was a stain on one of the towels. The wifi was awful in our room. It was spotty on our phones and just did not connect on our laptop at all. The walls are incredibly thin and we heard a lot of noises throughout. We've stayed at many budget hotels but this one made us reconsider our choices for next time even when it's a short stay.

Quite run down, had bed bugs, also quite noisy from internal machines, Guests very noisy, woke up at 7am to a lady banging on the next room, isn’t this why we have keys??? Had bed bugs too, so itches most of the night

Stayed here for two nights. It's not perfect, but then you are not paying for a 4 or 5 star hotel. You have to remember that when booking Hotel 81 Changi. There were damp marks in the bathroom and you need to keep the bathroom door closed after a shower because the bathroom fan is not very good and the steam will condense on the bedroom walls and floors otherwise. There was only one pillow per person, but the bed was comfortable and clean. A good point was that the walls were quite solid. I did not hear anything from the adjoining rooms and nothing from the corridor either. It's been noted by others that the reception staff are a bit rude. I found their mannerisms to be a bit stand offish, but they were keen to help, so you have persevere and push through the facade. Location - excellent! Close to the MRT and not fair from the airport. Would I book this hotel again? If the price is right then yes.
